Here is a brief look at how these shots were created for Nissan. Making a black car look good inside a hanger sounded like an impossible task. Black paint = mirror. So we decided to first shoot the car in the hanger, then take it into the studio. We perfectly matched the camera angle, and then lit it up. By blending elements from both location and studio, we ended up with an image that is real, only better.
The AD at The Designory was Phil Samartan, who is now freelancing.

At the top of Mount Wilson, 5,700 feet above Pasadena, is an observatory. And 150 feet above that is their solar tower, where a webcam is mounted.
