I moved my blog over to my own server for more control. Feeling pretty happy with it. Link:

clouds
The clouds today were epic! I hiked up to a new vantage point I’ve always wondered about, and it payed off. Here are shots with iPhone, but I also shot some nice high-res ones. Nice thing to have in the back pocket for when a client needs that “the world is coming to an end” kind of look. Could make a good bit of art, too.
Infiniti G37 Coupe & Convertible
Just updated the site with some new Infiniti images. CGI once again by Recom Farmhouse. Art direction by Hieu Luong (AD) and Scott Izuhara (ACD) at The Designory. A few of the shots have environments fully created in CGI, with design input by all of us working on the project- the black one is my favorite. And we had a couple nice opportunities for some SFX here with water and clouds. The clouds are part real, part CGI. Same with the water- the splash is real, but Farmhouse created a water surface in 3d to reflect the sky and car. We learned some new tricks on this one- my favorite kind of project!
Camaro & Corvette
I’m finally posting these ads shot for Chevrolet, although they never went to press since this was right before the account moved to Goodby. At least they make nice portfolio material! Art Direction by Eric Moncaleano and Lindsay Daniels with Publicis.
The Camaro image was accomplished by shooting the car at a pad location, which was then combined with a surface & background that was created entirely in CG by Recom Farmhouse.
The Corvette is more standard- car shot on a hairpin curve, and then we added in a mountain scene in the distance. Rocket did the post-production on that one.

New work up!
I finally had a moment to update my website. It really was only a moment- my guy Stephen Birchmore has an amazing admin system that makes it super easy. Anyway, there are new ad campaigns for Porsche and Chevrolet, and the brochure for Infiniti QX. That last one is all CGI, done by Recom Farmhouse. Go to the main site (link on the right of this page) to see.
